This is a 3D scene built with the PSD to 3D tool.
In 2022, I was lucky to work for E.D.Films as a freelancer and had the opportunity to participate in testing and researching their PSD to 3D software. This project is the result and has been worked on and off for many months between other comissions. I hope you enjoy!

The PSD to FBX tool is developed by E.D.Films in Montreal.

The entire scene was built using the PSD to 3D tool.
About the process:
After the 2D concept was done, I started painting the textures in Photoshop before shaping any 3D geometry.
By using the 3D to FBX tool, it is possible to generate geometry on each painted texture layer from my PSD.
These files are exported as FBX, which are imported in Blender.
The imported FBX files are now then edited into the desired shape with Blender's rudimentary modelling tools and modifiers.
Camera animation and rendering have been done in Blender Cycles.
Particles were added in After Effects, cutting and color correction were done in Premiere Pro.

The glass cover and the lamp wire are the only objects made without the PSD to 3D workflow.
